About MH Services

We're a Colorado Springs family: fourth generation in the Springs, second generation in the fireplace trade. MH Services was founded in 2023 by Matthew Humphrey, who got into the HVAC side doing heat calculations and duct design, and it grew into the crew that keeps people warm and cool: fireplaces, stoves, and inserts sold, installed, and serviced; furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps sized and installed; chimneys swept, inspected, and repaired.

We're a licensed and insured mechanical and wood stove contractor for the county, CSIA, NFI, and F.I.R.E. certified, and we service all the major brands, whoever sold them. We're home-based on purpose: instead of a showroom, you get an instant estimate online and an in-home appointment in the room where the fire is actually going, so the unit is sized to the space and the venting is settled before anything is ordered.

A lot of the people who call us are new to Colorado: new to the altitude, new to the swing from a 90-degree afternoon to a below-zero night, new to what a Palmer Divide storm does to a house that leans on the furnace. We've watched these winters for four generations. We know what works here, and we'll tell you plainly.
