Why Homeowners Choose Us for HVAC
Comfort in the Pikes Peak Region is not a one-season job. Colorado can hand you a 90-degree afternoon and a below-zero cold snap in the same month, and a furnace or air conditioner that was guessed into place fights both of them at 6,000 feet.
Heat calculations are how our owner got into the HVAC trade, and every system we install still starts there: the square footage, the ceiling heights, the windows, and the altitude, then a county-licensed installation that is permitted and inspected. We carry Armstrong Air, Mr. Cool, and LG, and we service the brand that is already in your mechanical room.
- Sized by a real heat calculation, never by the old unit's sticker
- Installed and permitted by a county-licensed mechanical contractor
- Service on the brands we sell and the brands we did not

“Mark (father) and Matt (son) were wonderful to work with! I’m so happy we stumbled upon this small family and locally COS owned business. We love our new Regency i2500 Firewood Insert and non-combustible mantle will be using it as our primary heat source.”
“Matt was amazing! Found our issue quickly, repaired it and educated us along the way! It was such a fantastic experience. Past fire place guy said we needed a whole new fire place, Matt found it was just a bad switch! Grateful!”
“Matthew was extremely thorough, checking out the AC unit and the Armstrong furnace. The blower was very dirty, and Matthew spent a lot of time cleaning out the blower. I would highly recommend MH Services to anyone. Courteous, professional, and extremely thorough.”
“Father and son, Mark and Matthew, were amazing. We are 100% satisfied with our Wiseway pellet stove install from MH Services CO, LLC. We are looking forward to using our central, electric heater a lot less this winter ; )”

Common Questions About HVAC
My furnace runs but the back bedrooms stay cold. Can you fix that?
Usually, yes, and often without replacing the furnace. Cold rooms are usually a duct design problem, which is the service this company was built on. We measure, find the starved runs, and fix the airflow.
Do you service furnace brands you don't sell?
Yes. Same rule as our fireplace side: if it's in your house, we'll work on it.
Do I really need AC in Colorado Springs?
You need something. More summers are crossing 90 for weeks at a stretch, and two-story homes east of Powers bake upstairs. Whether that something is central AC or a heat pump depends on your house, and we'll give you the honest math on both.
Can you add AC to my furnace system?
Usually, yes. Most forced-air furnaces can host a cooling coil and an outdoor condenser. We verify duct capacity and electrical service first, so the finished system actually performs.
Do heat pumps actually work in Colorado winters?
Modern cold-climate units do. Many hold their rated capacity well below zero. For the deepest Palmer Divide cold snaps, a dual-fuel setup with a gas furnace backup gives you the best of both. We'll tell you honestly which fits your house.
What's a mini-split, and is it right for my addition?
A ductless heat pump: a small outdoor unit feeding slim indoor heads, no ductwork needed. For additions, garages, and sunrooms it's usually the cleanest answer, and each head has its own thermostat.
