What Our Air Conditioning Work Covers

Colorado Springs summers used to be a ceiling-fan problem. Now the 90-degree stretches come earlier, stay longer, and turn second floors into saunas. Half of comfortable year round is a cooling system that actually keeps up with July.

The sizing math matters as much in summer as in winter. An oversized air conditioner cools the air but never wrings the humidity out; an undersized one runs all day and loses. We size cooling with the same load calculation we use for heat, install under the county mechanical license, and service what we sell along with everything we didn't.

  • Central air conditioning installation and replacement, sized to the load calculation
  • Add-on AC for furnace-only homes, coordinated in one visit
  • Repair and diagnosis on every brand: warm air, short cycling, refrigerant issues, dead capacitors
  • Pre-season checkups so the first hot week isn't a service call
  • Honest guidance on AC versus a heat pump for your house and your utility rates

“Mark (father) and Matt (son) were wonderful to work with! I’m so happy we stumbled upon this small family and locally COS owned business. We love our new Regency i2500 Firewood Insert and non-combustible mantle will be using it as our primary heat source.”
Melissa Alcantar · Google Review
“Matt was amazing! Found our issue quickly, repaired it and educated us along the way! It was such a fantastic experience. Past fire place guy said we needed a whole new fire place, Matt found it was just a bad switch! Grateful!”
Megan Schofield · Google Review
“Matthew was extremely thorough, checking out the AC unit and the Armstrong furnace. The blower was very dirty, and Matthew spent a lot of time cleaning out the blower. I would highly recommend MH Services to anyone. Courteous, professional, and extremely thorough.”

“Father and son, Mark and Matthew, were amazing. We are 100% satisfied with our Wiseway pellet stove install from MH Services CO, LLC. We are looking forward to using our central, electric heater a lot less this winter ; )”

Common Questions About Air Conditioners

Do I really need AC in Colorado Springs?

You need something. More summers are crossing 90 for weeks at a stretch, and two-story homes east of Powers bake upstairs. Whether that something is central AC or a heat pump depends on your house, and we'll give you the honest math on both.

Can you add AC to my furnace system?

Usually, yes. Most forced-air furnaces can host a cooling coil and an outdoor condenser. We verify the duct capacity and the electrical service first, so the finished system actually performs.
