Fireplaces & HVAC in Monument, CO
Up on the Palmer Divide at nearly 7,000 feet, Monument winters run longer and colder than the Springs, and the Tri-Lakes area is exactly where a properly sized stove or insert earns its keep.

Why Monument Homeowners Call Us
When a Palmer Divide storm knocks the power out, the homes with wood stoves are the ones still warm. We size heat for Monument's elevation, not for a sea-level spec sheet.
If you're near Monument Rock, Mount Herman, or Palmer Lake, you're in our service area. Your Monument project is handled by our own crew under a county mechanical and wood stove contractor license: the unit, the gas line, the venting, and the permit.

Monument Homes
Forested custom homes and larger two-story builds, many with big great rooms that a builder-grade fireplace struggles to heat. Wood stoves and high-output inserts fit the way people live up here.
Permits & Local Rules
MH Services is a licensed mechanical and wood stove contractor for the county, so permits and inspections are handled for you.
The same everywhere
One Crew, Every Job in Monument
The crew that installs your fireplace in Monument is the same county-licensed crew that services a furnace two towns over, not a subcontractor with our sticker on the truck. What changes with distance is scheduling, not standards.
What Distance Doesn't Change
- The instant estimate prices any fireplace, stove, or insert installed, from anywhere in Monument
- The in-home appointment confirms the room and the venting before anything is ordered
- Our own county-licensed crew handles the unit, the gas line, the venting, and the permit
- A person answers the phone in Colorado Springs, whichever town you call from
The city pages carry the local details. The standard doesn't move.

“Mark (father) and Matt (son) were wonderful to work with! I’m so happy we stumbled upon this small family and locally COS owned business. We love our new Regency i2500 Firewood Insert and non-combustible mantle will be using it as our primary heat source.”
“Matt was amazing! Found our issue quickly, repaired it and educated us along the way! It was such a fantastic experience. Past fire place guy said we needed a whole new fire place, Matt found it was just a bad switch! Grateful!”
“Matthew was extremely thorough, checking out the AC unit and the Armstrong furnace. The blower was very dirty, and Matthew spent a lot of time cleaning out the blower. I would highly recommend MH Services to anyone. Courteous, professional, and extremely thorough.”
“Father and son, Mark and Matthew, were amazing. We are 100% satisfied with our Wiseway pellet stove install from MH Services CO, LLC. We are looking forward to using our central, electric heater a lot less this winter ; )”
